Winter can be magical along the Gulf Coast. We have mild winters, beautiful scenery, and celebrations around every corner. If you plan to take a trip this winter, here are some of the top winter events along the Gulf Coast to check out in 2023-2024.

Gulf Shores and Orange Beach

Get into the spirit of the season by watching Lulu’s Lighted Boat Parade along the canal between Lulu’s and The Wharf. 

Enjoy one of the best Christmas light shows in the country at beautiful Bellingrath Gardens Magic Christmas Lights.

And, of course, Mardi Gras is the crown jewel of the winter events season in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Mobile, Alabama. The parades begin early this year, January 20, 2024. 

30A and Panama City

Grab a blanket or some camp chairs and get in the holiday spirit with a Holiday Pops Concert on the Green in Seaside, Florida. 

Enjoy a lovely horse-drawn carriage rides and get those famous photos with Santa all month-long on Grand Boulevard in Miramar Beach.

Chow down on one of the Gulf Coast’s signature dishes at the Sandestin Gumbo and Bloody Mary Festival.

Pensacola and Navarre

Enjoy magical shows, decorations and performances from The Polar Express or Whoville in Pensacola’s one-of-a-kind event, Winterfest.
