One of the most well-known Thanksgiving events on the Gulf Coast is the Flora-Bama potluck dinner. The restaurant provides the meats and asks anyone who attends to bring sides! The Hangout
This beachside staple offers a family-style dinner with a fixed traditional Thanksgiving menu. Enjoy the beachy ambience of this restaurant and easy access to a beach stroll in Gulf Shores after your meal. Tickets are $32.99 for adults and $14.99 for kids. Kids 5 and under eat free. Many restaurants in this area offer a special Thanksgiving menu. Most require reservations. Here are just a few of them: The Great Southern Cafe in Seaside, North Beach Social in Santa Rosa Beach, Fish Out of Water in Watercolor, Vintij Food & Wine and Ovide in Miramar Beach and Ambrosia in Watersound.
Take-Out Banquet
There are also some restaurants offering fully prepared meals that just need to be heated on Turkey Day. A few of them include Flemings Steakhouse in Sandestin, The Big Chill in Watersound and Edwards in Rosemary Beach.
