A Winter Vacation at the Beach 2024

Spending some time at the beach is a wonderful way to beat the winter blues. Average temperatures in the mid-60’s means you can still enjoy beautiful beach walks, kayaking on the back bays, or trail biking and hiking. Mardi Gras 2024

From Mobile to Orange Beach, Alabama’s Gulf coast boasts a rich history of Mardi Gras parades and festivities. And the parades are fun and family-friendly. The season kicks off on Dauphin Island on January 13, 2024. And you’ll find parades all over the area until Fat Tuesday, February 13. Click this link to see the full parade calendar. 

Orange Beach Seafood Festival and Car Show

On February 24, 2024, enjoy a variety of fresh Gulf seafood, live music, kids activities, arts and crafts, antiques, and classic and hot rod cars. There is also the Mako Mudbug Mania, a crawfish-eating contest! Admission is free. Proceeds benefit Orange Beach public schools. Click this link to learn more about this event for the whole family.

The Wharf Boat and Yacht Show

Visit one of the biggest boat shows in the northern Gulf Coast, March 15-17, 2024 at The Wharf in Orange Beach, AL. Browse more than 120 boats and yachts on the water.  Over $100 million in boats and marine products on display, plus music and kids activities.
