What’s New in Orange Beach & Gulf Shores

Are you looking for some new ideas for your spring or summer vacation in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach? There are lots of new things to check out when you visit, here are a few of our favorites:

Dining Out

For breakfast, check out the delicious options at locally owned Bagel Boy in Orange Beach and Foley. Waterfront dining at the newish (2025) Barometer  is a local favorite. For a detour, drive up to Bon Secour for some house-made pasta and more Italian delights at Fresco. And for a different sort of desert, check out the beachside flavors at Mythic Beach Banana Bar. Round it out with excellent cuppa joe from Anchored Coffee House.

Attractions

While the beach will certainly keep you busy, we love some of the new activities and attractions. Get back to nature with a Saturday class at the Gulf Coast Eco Center, find your own adventure in our intracoastal waterways on a Beachside Circle Boat or GoBoat, see amazing views on a gyroplane, or just relax at the brand new Portside green at The Wharf.

Bridge

The new canal bride is on schedule to open sometime this summer! This will alleviate some of the traffic, especially on holiday weekends over the summer. There is also a pedestrian bridge coming in 2027! Check out updates on the City of Gulf Shores Facebook page.

New Vacation Rentals

We have some incredible recent additions in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores.

Coastal Alabama has the charm and nostalgia of an old-fashioned beach town, with the benefits of a modern beach destination. You will find most of your favorite spots still around, but there’s always something fresh to try while you’re here. See you soon!
