Little Lagoon in Gulf Shores is a hidden vacation gem. Stay right on the lagoon, where you can fish, boat, view wildlife, ride jet skis, paddle kayaks or just swim and float out in the placid water. And it is just a short walk (a block or two) to what locals call the “Gulf-side.” Because the houses on the lagoon have an open view westward, you will get to enjoy some show-stopping sunsets.
This area of Gulf Shores is more remote, with mostly small condominiums and vacation homes. The beaches are quiet, and so is the lagoon. Check out our rentals, which would be perfect for a big family getaway, reunion or a quiet retreat.
Turtle Tracks Beach House

And it is located right next to “The Pass” where the Gulf and the Lagoon meet, a great place for swimming, snorkeling and boating. Amenities also include fishing pier access and a heated swimming pool.
Sandy Cheeks Beach House
Located in the same community of houses as Turtle Tracks (above), you will have all the same amenities, including beach and lagoon access, fishing pier and heated pool. But, this four bedroom, four-bathroom house is equipped for a slightly larger party of 14.
Coastal Dreams
You don’t have to compromise luxury to enjoy a back-to-nature experience at this beautiful lagoon-front home. With 5 bedrooms and 5 and a half bathrooms, there is enough room to comfortably accommodate 12 guests. Kayaks are included in this rental property, plus easy access to the lagoon and a back porch to enjoy the sunset.
Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club
If you prefer a getaway in a condominium but want to avoid the beach crowd, we love this location. With garden-style swimming pools with waterfalls, hot tubs, tennis courts and a boat launch, this location is a perfect mix of amenities and serenity. We manage four properties in this location with capacity of 4-6 guests: 703A, 203A, 401A and 503B.
